Believe it or not, I flew to the other side of the world to see this rooster! I didn’t go specifically to see him, but while in Nepal it was fun to see all the farm animals scattered about in the villages. It felt as though I had been placed back in time two thousand years. Plowing there is still done by hand and with ox teams, and wheat is threshed out wheat by hand and pounded into flour with millstones. There are many things to think about when witnessing lifestyles and cultures so very different from my own; “The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.” - Ecclesiastes 5:12
